What kind of 3D are you referring to though? With glasses or glasses-free.

If you're referring to G-F, then NO WAY!!!

Actually, both ways = IMPOSSIBLE, because right now you need a 3DTV to watch 3D movies and seeing as NGP is not a 3D screen.

In all seriousness and imo, it's damn ugly and to be honest has way too many useless features. Why did it need touch on front and back?

Sony still don't have a clue with the games for it, there just portable versions of what you can play at home as what PSP 1 did and look how far that got. They need more portable exclusive titles.

It looks, like exactly like the PSP, bar being more bulky along with touchscreens on the front and back and an extra analog stick. As for features, well I actually used to care not at all about features other than in the games on the system, however I actually think the edition of 3G (which basically means it has the ability to communicate anywhere, in Aus anyway) is neat, while GPS's would be pretty awesome if you've lost your way. Last time I checked the PS3 had 'pointless' features like this too, but alot of people along with me enjoy them.

The idea is to make the controls more accessible, it gives the consumer alot of options when it comes to controls, admittedly, it seems a bit stupid to put one on the back, but it could actually work extremely well. If you don't like touchscreens you can just use the analog sticks, just think of it as giving you more options to how you play games on it.

To be fair, this is only just the announcement. When Nintendo announced the 3DS we didn't see any games for it, at all. Chances are we will see alot bigger lineup at E3, this is just the announcement so you honestly can't expect too much in terms of titles shown.

Firstly, cheers for not treating me like a fanboy its rare these days :P I know i can be harsh with my opinions but we have all got them ain't we?

As for the NGP [Facepalm], looking just like the PSP is my problem :P The PSP for me was awkward to use and hold and looked damn ugly, this imo looks worse [WTF]

The touch screen on the front is cool, it'll probably allow games from the ipod to be ported over. But touch on the back? all that is gonna serve is a higher cost.

Sony imo need more exclusive portable titles not downgraded versions of PS3 games, look at the DS with it's Pokemon titles and the Professor Layton series to name a couple.

I just don't think Sony get portable gaming, it's not about the best graphics, it's about fun portable gaming where you can play for 5mins or an hour at a time. I wouldn't want Mass Effect 2 on a portable for instance, could hardly play that for 5mins on the bus :P

To me i think 3DS wins the handheld wars yet again, it aims at kids (and does this well) and gets us adults who are still a child at heart.

The PSP 2 is gonna attract an older audience which is currently being dominated by Apple.

I also find it odd that Sony is pushing 3D hard yet Nintendo are the ones with the 3D handheld :S

I thought the 3DS graphics looked good, but seeing HD gameplay of Uncharted changed my opinion on that. Mind you, graphics don't make a good game, they just make a good game more enjoyable.

I'm going by what has been revealed so far to us all? :P

For me its all about the gameplay, i prefer my DS over a PSP and ill probably prefer 3DS over PSP2.

The best part about the PSP2's life will be when it's hacked, imagine the possibilities with it's power [Derp]
