I have a pair and they are very good for gaming. They block all outside noises and the low end sounds are really punchy.
A decent investment IMO..

I got the blue pair with my pre-order Vita. They're not too bad. Can't compare to my Sennheiser CX-300ii very well but for what they are those Sony in-ears are rather comfortable.

Granted they are selling for $25, if you want some general purpose in-ears at a price point like that I don't think you will find anything better.

Somewhat related, I wonder if SONY will bring out a set with a mic for the upcoming multiplayer titles. Yes I know there is a mif on the Vita, but it would be pretty cool ..

Actually, now that I think about it, I was pretty interested in getting one of these headsets when I first got my Vita with the included in-ears (included with the pre-order). I was never able to find out whether or not the audio quality was any better or worse than the ones I'd gotten for free though. Does anyone have any idea how they compare? I figured that since the blue in-ears were included for free they must sound a least a little lesser than the headset. Looking at how much they're going for though, I'm seriously doubting that.

Ahh, I didn't look at the above link. l just assumed we were talking about the pair that came with the Vita pre-order (blue ones).

Now that I think about it, I guess they're kinda redundant as the Vita does have a built in mic.

EDIT: Saying that, I guess they might come in handy when SKYPE goes live

In terms of sound quality l think they're better than the buds you just slip on and they end up falling out half the time. The headset and the blue ones have the same plugs.
