The latest issue of Game Informer has revealed that Assassin's Creed III: Liberation will be released exclusively on the PlayStation Vita on the same day as Assassin's Creed III, as a tie-in to the latter game.
Interestingly, for the first time the game will feature a female protagonist by the name of Aveline and will take place in New Orleans in the aftermath of the French and Indian War (between 1765-1780).
Ubisoft Sofia will be developing the game Game Informer have confirmed that it will feature "multiplayer specifically tailored to the Vita experience."
