Street Fighter x Tekken Vita trailer is cross-platform

Capcom has released a new trailer for the Vita version of Street Fighter x Tekken and revealed that it will feature cross-platform online multiplayer with the PlayStation 3.

Vita gamers will be able to duke it out against PS3 rivals using either WiFi or 3G.

Sounds cool. A lot more game titles need to provide this cross-platform functionality. I can only think of one more fairly recent instance, and that's Shadowrun (which had Xbox 360 players playing against or with Windows Live PC players).

If only SF x T didn't have DLC already on disc... :P

I played Shadowrun against the PC players and I mostly pawned PC players.
