Wipeout HD and Fury coming to Vita, free if you own PS3 versions

If you own Wipeout 2048 for your PS Vita, things are about to get a whole lot better for you. Wipeout HD and it's Fury expansion is coming via two DLC packs today,

For $7.99 the Wipeout HD Add-On Pack brings the single-player mode from the game along with all the online tacks, 12 new ships, along with PS3/Vita cross-play for 12 tracks not previously included with 2048. The Fury Add-On Pack brings another 12 tacks to the mix, another single-player campaign and 24 more ships to drove.

You could buy both of them together in a bundle to save some cash, but if you own both the games on your PS3 then you can access the downloads for free on your Vita, thanks Sony!

Nice little bonuses like this are making the Vita more tempting. One or two more announcments at Sony's upcoming Vita Heaven show and I think I'll hit the tipping point. I'm really close to a PsVita purchase right now. :P

Hey has anyone been able to get the wipeout fury DLC for free? I can download the hd content for free but not fury. Yet I have wipeout hd and fury addon on my ps3, which I believe I got from playstation plus at some point. I know I definitely didn't pay for it. However when I search my download history, all I can see is wipeout hd, not fury :-S
